Community impact

Creating real change for the communities we serve in Leeds.

We have delivered our Community Health Awareness Event and launched Wellbeing Walks at Roundhay Park, and we are committed to publishing transparent progress as our work grows.

Our work so far

Our free Community Health Awareness Event in Leeds brought registered nurses and community members together around the prevention and management of long-term illnesses, and our Wellbeing Walks give residents a gentle, welcoming way to stay active. As a new CIC we are building the partnerships needed to measure outcomes properly over time.

Our goals

Focused on outcomes that matter

  • 02Improve understanding of diabetes prevention
  • 03Reduce health inequalities

Driving long-term change

By combining trusted clinical leadership with grassroots community engagement, we aim to help residents move from awareness to action — registering with a GP, attending screenings, and managing risk earlier.

Our work is delivered transparently and led by registered nurses, so community members, partners and funders can see exactly how it is carried out.
